Original mailing envelope from the personal collection of Franklin D. Roosevelt, auctioned at H. R. Harmer in 1946 by his widow Eleanor Roosevelt. The envelope measures 6.25 x 4 and is postmarked at Vienna, Austria, on November 23, 1936. Typed address to front panel reads: "Wohlgeb / Herrn Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Prasident der V. St., Washington, U.S.A." The reverse is stamped: "From the Franklin D. Roosevelt Collection, Authenticated by H. R. Harmer, Inc., N. Y." In fine condition.
