Kennedy's 45th birthday celebration. The 25 images show Peter Lawford's introduction of Monroe, her performance of the infamous song, the presentation of an enormous birthday cake to JFK, and President Kennedy's response, alluding to Monroe's sultry delivery and appearance: 'I can now retire from politics after having had Happy Birthday sung to me in such a sweet, wholesome way.' Reverse bears a Friedman-Abeles credit stamp. In fine condition, with trimmed edges and ten images circled in grease pencil.
