Collection of eight items signed by Justice O'Connor:
Four letters: three TLSs, signed "Sandra" and "Sandra O'Connor," each one page, 8.5 x 11, Supreme Court letterhead, dated from 1989-2001. O'Connor writes to Ken Browne, in part: "I am feeling quite well and am glad to be at work concentrating on legal problems instead of medical ones," "My shoulder is not too bad and I expect it to be fully recovered before too long," and "It must be hard to move to a cold wintry climate after all those years in Arizona. Hope you enjoy it nonetheless"; and an ALS signed "Sandra O'Connor," one page, 6.25 x 8.5, Supreme Court letterhead, in part: "The photos are wonderful. I am so pleased to have them in remembrance of my big day in Arizona. Thank you!"
Four other signed items: a glossy 10 x 8 photo of O'Connor at her desk, signed and inscribed in the lower border in black felt tip, "To Ken, with best regards—Sandra O'Connor"; two felt tip signatures, "Sandra Day O'Connor," on individual off-white 5 x 3 cards; and a Supreme Court card, signed in black felt tip, "Sandra Day O'Connor, 4/23/82." Includes eight original candid 4.5 x 3.5 photographs of O'Connor during a 1981 visit to Phoenix. In overall very good to fine condition.
