Desirable pair of original hand-inked Archie comic strips, 11 x 17 and 22 x 14.75, including a 10-panel comic dated to August 23, 1981, and a five-panel comic dated to April 21, 1992. The larger and earlier comic strip, which features Archie having bird problems with Betty and Veronica, has artist notations to borders and an affixed King Features Syndicate copyright label. The smaller comic, which shows Jughead entering a design for the 'Riverdale Artistic Dog Show' with the support of his sheepdog, Hot Dog, lists "Collins & Golliher" as the creators, notations to borders, and Bill Golliher's artist signature to lower left. In overall fine condition, with the graphic in the first panel of the larger strip detached but present.
