American jurist (1780-1844) who served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court from 1830 to 1844. ALS, one page, 7.75 x 9.75, August 22, 1835. Letter to a bookseller, requesting several legal volumes for himself and for "Judge Kennedy of the Supreme Court of this State."
