Ted Kennedy's contemporaneous notes written the night of June 5, 1968 when Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated. Provenance: Ted Kennedy's aide. With original wire service photo of a dying Robert Kennedy shortly after being shot by Sirhan Sirhan on June 5, 1968.

Ted Kennedy tracks down his brother Robert after hearing he was shot while watching television. This amazing document details the information that Ted was able to get; his brother was shot at the Ambassador Hotel, taken first to the Central Receiving Hospital, and finally to Good Samaritan Hospital where doctors were operating on his brother Robert. As his note reflects, Ted Kennedy went to Hamilton Air Force base where a plane immediately flew him to Los Angeles where he did get to see his brother Robert before he passed away the following afternoon. An incredible artifact pertaining to the assassination of Robert Kennedy.

Provenance from Kennedy aide who was with Ted Kennedy that evening and kept these notes that Ted had written.
