Sib Hashian's personally-owned complete limited edition portfolio of Erte's 'The Alphabet Suite,' comprising 26 lithograph/serigraph prints portraying each letter of the alphabet. Each print measures 18.5 x 25.5, is numbered 139/350, and signed in the lower right corner in pencil, "Erte." The set is complete with its colophon, two title sheets (one signed in white pencil, "With best wishes, Erte"), and original clamshell presentation box. In fine to very fine condition; this portfolio was sealed in its original plastic and only opened to be photographed. Enhanced by its former celebrity ownership, this is a hugely desirable Erte suite, frequently broken up and rarely offered as a complete set.
