Desirable group lot of 14 CDs and four music DVDs from the personal collection of Boston drummer Sib Hashian, including: a CD for Boston's self-titled debut; a CD of the 30th anniversary remastered version of Boston's debut; a CD for Boston's second album, Don't Look Back; a sealed limited edition copy CD of Still Smokin' by Sib Hashian; and the We Found It in the Trash Can, Honest! CD bootleg.
The group lot also contains several rare handmade CD demos, which includes the following highlights:
A demo CD from Mother's Milk, with hand-annotated insert dating the contents to "1972-1974, Pre-Boston," listing the tracks and running times ("Don't Be Afraid," "Shattered Images," "San Francisco Day," "Shakin' (Smokin')," "Looker," and "Foreplay"), and the names of the band members ("Brad Delp-vocals," "Tom Scholz-Guitar, Organ, Vocals," "Barry Goudreau-Guitar, Vocals," "Sib Hashian-Drums," "Jim Mesdea-Drums," and "Fran Sheehan-Bass").
A CD-R disc with annotated insert reading: "Tough to Beat, 1984 / Produced by Sib Hashian / Engineered by Barry Goudreau / Written by Sib Hashian / Re-mixed and Digital mastered by Joe Deleo, 2002 / Sib Hashian-drums, Joe Deleo-lead guitar, Mush-bass, Louie-guitar.”
A CD-R disc with Zig Zag rolling paper insert marked "Smokin, Too much BD, no bass."
Also included: a CD-R disc marked in black felt tip, "Sibby's Night MP3”; a CD-R disc with insert marked "Boston-Agora Ballroom, Cleveland, OH 1977"; a CD-R disc marked "In This Together"; a CD-R disc marked "Track, Smokin 2000, 3-28-00," with label affixed to jewel case reading: "4 18 2000”; and a pair of CD-R discs, with one marked "Smokin' 3/28/00" and featuring a small self-portrait sketch of "Sib.”
The four DVDs are respectively marked in felt tip: "Boston live (music), Data DVD, 1977-1979 (Assorted Shows)," "Boston live (video), 6-17-79, Giant Stadium, New Jersey," "Boston, Sib's, Giant Stadium, 79," and "Boston," with accompanying insert annotated, "Boston 1979, Giant Stadium."
