Chicago-based artist (1927-1990) who illustrated a number of books related to The Oz books series. Vintage original ink sketch by Dick Martin for an Oz book advertisement from circa 1970, headed "In the Jackdaws' Nest," which depicts the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodsman, the Woggle-Bug, and Jack Pumpkin-Head sitting together amid a pile of toys and objects, with subtitle below, "An Ozian Treasure Hunt," penned on an off-white 6 x 5 sheet, with Martin signing in the lower right corner, "Dick Martin, Delineavit." In fine condition.
