Uncommon 2 1/4″ celluloid pinback button from Curley's campaign for mayor of Boston in 1929, featuring his portrait encircled with white text: "For Mayor 1929, Hon. James M. Curley." Reverse bears a Lopez Badge & Novelty Co. paper backer insert. In fine condition, with surface loss to the paper insert. Curley won the election, becoming mayor of Boston for a third nonconsecutive term.
