Green Bay Packers check, 8 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Lombardi, "Vincent Lombardi," payable to Thomas M. Miller for $316.16, October 31, 1959. The check is countersigned by Dominic Olejniczak. Matted and framed with a photo of Lombardi to an overall size of 15.25 x 20.75. In fine condition. Olejniczak was the mayor of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and the president and chairman of the Board of the Green Bay Packers. A considerably early check signed by Lombardi in his rookie year as the Packers head coach. After finishing the 1958 season with a record of 1-10-1, Lombardi was brought in to serve as both head coach and general manager. The 1959 Packers were an immediate improvement, with the team finishing the year at 7-5 and Lombardi being named Coach of the Year.
