Gorgeous color satin-finish 16 x 20 photo of the famous Earthrise image taken during the Apollo 8 mission, signed in silver ink, "'And from the crew of Apollo 8, we close with good night, good luck, a Merry Christmas, and God Bless all of you—all of you on the good Earth.' Frank Borman, Apollo 8 CDR, December 24, 1968" and "James Lovell, Apollo 8 CMP." This vertical orientation depicts the Earth as the astronauts actually saw it during the mission, rather than the rotated variation made famous by later publications. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Novaspace and by photos of Lovell and Borman taken at the signing.
