Amazing collection of approximately 20,000 ink signatures on individual 5 x 3 cards, most inscribed to "Joe," originally obtained in person by a New York autograph collector who collected from the 1950s through the 2000s. Spanning five decades of entertainment, these signatures primarily consist of actors and actresses, but also include some filmmakers, musicians, and other figures of note. Represented here are everyone from the obscure, journeymen actors of Hollywood's golden age to early examples of today's stars of cinema. The earlier cards tend to have small affixed portraits, and some have the date that they were acquired recorded on the reverse. In terms of scope, quantity, and condition, this is the finest in-person collection we have handled in over thirty years. In very fine overall condition.
