LS signed “H. C.,” one page, 4.25 x 7, February 10, 1903. Letter endorsed by Carter, in part: "Messrs. Denderah informs that he had written to you regarding the raise of his salary, for he did not receive any raise from year 99 & that you have promised him to require to him, the middle of the 3rd step & asking you to look into his matter." In fine condition, with staple holes to the top and punch holes to the side.
