Graded by PSA EX 5. Extremely scarce Dockman & Sons caramel card of legendary shortstop Honus Wagner, a high end example with very bold colors, superb image and only slightly off center. Issued one card per package of caramel candy. these cards are often found in very low condition, as the cards were marketed to children and usually handled appropriately.Distributed in much lesser quantities than their tobacco brethren, the caramel cards were issued by several different companies, sharing the same design, and while Dockman examples are less difficult than the other caramel brands, they are also more widely collected for the same reason. This is a very high end example of the Honus Wagner Dockman & Sons caramel card, having many attributes of a higher graded example.Very evenly touched corners, deep color and superb print quality. Clean back with a dark print strike. Very tough Wagner to obtain in this higher grade.
