Official Spalding National League (Frick) baseball signed in various inks on the sweet spot and side panels by 13 early Hall of Famers: Cy Young, Ty Cobb, Rogers Hornsby (ss), Jimmie Foxx, George Sisler, Ed Walsh, Mel Ott, Tris Speaker, Pie Traynor, Charles 'Kid' Nichols, Fred Clarke, Charles Gehringer, and Mickey Cochrane. Annotated in an unknown hand in black ink between the Ott and Hornsby signatures, "1951" and "75 Anniv. of Baseball," perhaps an indication of when it was signed. In very good to fine condition, with light overall toning, and some fading and slight blurring to some of the signatures. A marvelous, rarely seen combination of early baseball greats. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
