Graded by PSA NM 7. Extremely rare Altoona Tribune reverse, one of the most difficult advertising backs in the entire M101-4 set. With only 50-60 examples of this rare back known to the hobby, this Mordecai Brown card is the highest graded Altoona Tribune reverse by PSA. Slightly off centered with a light corner touch, this card also exhibits ultra-clean surfaces front and back, and a crystal clear image. Altoona Tribune cards often have factory derived surface creases, with almost all known examples having this factory flaw. However, this recently unearthed Altoona Tribune is WITHOUT this factory flaw and is one of only 13 examples encapsulated by PSA, with this offered Brown as the highest one graded with this very rare M101-4 reverse. Extremely rare card, highly desirable for Type, HOFer and Chicago Cubs collectors.
