Unique collection of 38 original vintage color candid photos, most circa 1972, showing astronauts attending parties at Dan Schaiewitz's apartment in Cocoa Beach. Among those depicted are astronauts Gene Cernan, Ron Evans, Harrison Schmitt, Charlie Duke, Alan Shepard, Deke Slayton, Joe Allen, and Stu Roosa, as well as NASA notables Guenter Wendt (padleader) and Mary Bubb (journalist)—all clearly having a good time. In overall very good to fine condition, with some having toned tape to edges. Accompanied by a newspaper from August 18, 1972, featuring a cover story about Apollo 17, and a framed display reproducing many of these candid photos with captions.
