Pay order issued by Wolcott as comptroller of Connecticut, in full: “I hereby certify that Pierpoint Bacon is entitled to receive the Sum of Ten Shillings Lawful Money, out of any Funds appropriated for the Payment of Interest on the liquidated Debt of the State of Connecticut.” In fine condition, with cancellation cuts across the center.
