Incredible vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 publicity photo for the 1960 film G. I. Blues, depicting Presley in a military uniform, nicely signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “To Buddy, from, Elvis Presley.” Reverse is stamped “Coming soon Elvis in ‘G.I. Blues’ A Hal Wallis Production.” In very good condition, with professional archival repairs to several former tears (one through a portion of the inscription), and scattered overall creasing (some through hair line and left ear, and heaviest to lower right corner); the restored condition is highly displayable. An impressive oversized portrait of the King from G. I. Blues, his first film following his honorable discharge from the Army on May 5, 1960. Signed photos of Presley remain extremely uncommon in such prodigious size. Pre-certified REAL.
