Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 close-up photo of Garland as Esther Blodgett from the 1954 film A Star Is Born, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To Grand-ma; my good friend—for your gentle kindness & thoughtness [sic], I will be ever gratefull [sic], Judy.” In fine condition, with brushing to portions of inscription and tiny tear to upper border, affecting nothing. The consignor notes that this came from the estate of Garland's personal housekeeper and cook, who she affectionately nicknamed ‘Grandma.’ Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
