Elton John’s personally-owned and -worn prescription glasses made by Syvli’s of Germany. The main frame area features a striking multicolored pattern and the temples are solid yellow. Includes a color 10 x 8 photo of John, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “To John, enjoy the glasses, Love, Elton John.” In fine condition, with a PSA/DNA label affixed to the photo. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA for the signed photo, as well as a letter of authenticity from Charity Buzz, stating that the glasses “were worn by Sir Elton John and donated by him personally” to benefit the Second Annual Chevy Chase Earth Day Auction in 2005. So typical of Elton John’s flamboyant style and supported by rock-solid provenance, these glasses are a wonderful addition to any pop culture collection.
