Unusual 7 x 5 philatelic card featuring an image of President John F. Kennedy and Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson with the Mercury 7 astronauts, bearing three affixed postage stamps and a first day cancellation, signed in fountain pen, “Alan Shepard, Freedom 7, Apollo 14.” In fine condition, with some creasing to upper left. Shepard’s “Freedom 7, Apollo 14” inscription is very rarely seen and highly desirable. Pre-certified Zarelli Space Authentication.
