Program for an event called ‘Tulsa Salutes Iwo Jima Veterans,’ two pages, 9 x 12, signed on the full-page cover image in fountain pen, “John H. Bradley Ph. M 2/c, Navy” and “Pfc. R. A. Gagnon, U.S.M.C.,” and inscribed in another hand, “5/27/45, To Pinky Perrault, with best wishes.” In fine condition, with Gagnon’s signature very light but still readable. This famous image was captured by photographer Joe Rosenthal on February 23, 1945, atop Mount Suribachi as American troops triumphantly raised the flag. Signed just three months later, this is a rarely seen period example signed by two of the famed flag raisers. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
