Manuscript DS, signed “Walpole,” one page, 9 x 13.5, September 30, 1741. Order for payment “unto Captain George Munro or to his Assigns the Sum of One hundred pounds without account for one Quarter of a Year due at Christmas 1740.” In very good condition, with light staining to right edge and short splits along folds.
