Rare bronze Disney Legends Award given to Annette Funicello to honor her contributions to the Walt Disney Company, measuring 22″ tall and set on an 8.5″ diameter wooden base, weighing 14.2 pounds, with an engraved plaque on the front, “The Disney Legends Award, Presented to Annette Funicello, 1992.” The gorgeous award statuette portrays Mickey’s arm rising up from a swirl of creativity to hold up a star-tipped magic wand. Funicello was honored as a ‘Disney Legend’ on October 21, 1992, one day prior to her 50th birthday. Her original trophy was lost in a fire at her home and replaced by Disney with this example in 2011.
