Brief note of thanks written on the reverse of a partly-printed thank you note for a donation towards his Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. The partly-printed note is signed by Secretary F. W. White, with Shackleton writing on the reverse, “Many thanks for yours and the kind wishes.” A central vertical fold passing through first initial of signature, and scattered light toning, a bit heavier to pre-printed side, otherwise fine condition.
