Terrific vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 portrait of the 26-year-old entertainer by Butler of Chicago, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Lillian—A lovely girl—A hot singer—What a combination, Best Wishes, Hope-fully, Bob, 1929.” In fine condition, with faint silvering to the darker areas. A wonderful early pose of the American icon only a few years into his vaudevillian career. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
