Limited edition color 13 x 10 lithograph entitled ‘The Conquest of Space,’ numbered 2,203/15,000, signed and dated in the lower border in pencil by the artist, “Paul Calle, 1979.” Nicely matted and framed with twelve space-themed US postage stamps, including the 1967 and 1969 stamps designed by Calle, to an overall size of 21 x 18. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original certificates of authenticity from the Franklin Mint. The lithograph was produced by the Franklin Mint in 1979 to honor the ten-year anniversary of the moon landing. A nice limited example from Calle, earlier than typically seen.
