Program for the 5th Annual Key Awards Dinner, held at the Hotel Taft, New Haven, on January 28, 1946, two pages, 6.5 x 9.25, signed inside in blue ink by 11 attendees, including: Ed Walsh, Red Rolfe, Willie Pep, Kid Kaplan, Bill Summers, Joe McCluskey, Howard Odell, Raymond Baldwin (ins), Dan Parker (ins), Thomas Monahan, and one other; the inscriptions are to the organizer of the event, Bob C. Wilson, who was sports editor of the Bridgeport Herald. In very good condition, with heavy central vertical and horizontal folds, mounting remnants to top edge and covers, and a bit of haloing to ink. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA. An unusual combination of baseball and boxing stars along with obscure athletes and sportswriters. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
