Two war-dated TLSs, each signed, “B. L. Montgomery,” adding “Field-Marshall,” under one signature, one-page each, 6.25 x 8, TAC Headquarters stationery, dated 1944 and 1945. Both letters are to General Leland Hobbs. One letter reads, in part: “Thank you for sending me the Scrap Book of the 30th Infantry Division. This makes a magnificent record of the achievements of the Division during the campaign in Europe, and I feel sure that every officer and man of the Division will be proud to keep a copy of it.” In very good condition, with central horizontal and vertical folds, old tape toning to corners, and a pencil notation to bottom of one letter.
