As Emperor of the French, Napoleon writes to his minister of war

LS signed “Np,” one page, 7.25 x 9, July 7, 1811. Untranslated letter to his minister of war, General Henri Clarke, the Duke of Feltre. A period note is stapled to the lower left. Attractively matted and framed with a print of Napoleon on horseback at the Battle of Wagram to an overall size of 17.5 x 26. In fine condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds (unobtrusively passing through signature). Oversized. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
