Rapper and actor (1971–1996) who was gunned down in Las Vegas by unknown assailants. Most likely unique color laser print souvenir photo of Tupac and three others on the Viper roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. Photo measures 5.5 x 4 and was taken by the park at a particularly exciting part of the ride, then offered for sale at a stand outside the ride’s exit. Photo is housed in its original 6.25 x 4.75 Magic Mountain Viper folder, and is signed and inscribed on the reverse of the folder in black ballpoint, “Peace Daniel, Be a Homie 2Pac.” Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original owner which reads, in part: “In 1992, while attending Six Flag’s Magic Mountain…Tupac Shakur happened to be in front of me in the line. This roller coaster takes a picture of all the occupants on the ride, to be purchased as a souvenir photo. Since Tupac Shakur went on the roller coaster the same time as I did, I purchased a souvenir photo card which contained the picture of him…I approached Tupac Shakur with the souvenir photo card of him and asked him if he would autograph the photo card for me, which he gladly obliged.” In fine condition. Tupac's signature is scarce in any form, but when accompanied by a unique photo linking him to the time of signing, it makes for a truly remarkable and desirable example.
