Introduction states, in part: “The LEV is designed to accelerate the command module (CM) away from the launch vehicle to a safe separation distance and far enough down range from the launch pad for a safe water landing.” Signed on the front cover in blue felt tip, “Walt Cunningham, Apollo 7.” In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and foxing to inside pages.
