Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 head-and-shoulders photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Mrs. & Mr. Fred Johnson—Persons whom I’m honored to want my picture. Thanks for everything, Ethel Waters.” In very good condition, with creasing along the edges and to the corners, a few light areas of soiling, rippling along the edges, a few tears to the right edge, and a 10.5 x 13.25 mounting board affixed to the reverse, none of which affect the heart-felt inscription and signature.
