Vintage matte-finish 3.75 x 5.5 Rockwood portrait, affixed to its original 7.5 x 10.75 mount, signed in fountain pen, “Grover Cleveland, Dec. 1895.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 12 x 13.75. In very good condition with light overall scuffing to the surface, an area of emulsion loss at the upper right corner, scratches to his coat and nose area somewhat affecting appearance, and skipping to the signature from irregular adhesion of the ink.
