In full: "I transmit herewith, the President's pardon of Francis Cordis, convicted of passing counterfeit coin, knowing them to be such, at the April term 1846 of the Circuit Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York. You will be pleased to acknowledge receipt." In very good condition, with uniform light toning, several diagonal creases, and scattered toning and soiling.
