A fearsome power hitter whose strength earned him the moniker ‘The Beast,’ Foxx was the anchor of an intimidating Philadelphia Athletics lineup that produced pennant winners from 1929 to 1931. Who’s Who in Baseball book page, (circa 1933-34), 8.5 x 11, featuring an image of Foxx as well as a biography and statistics, signed on his image in fountain pen, “Jimmie Foxx.” In fine condition, with a bit of mild edge toning, and some trivial staining to left edge, easily matted out.
