Cartoonist (1894–1968) best known as the creator of the durable strip Little Orphan Annie, which debuted in 1924 and which Gray drew until his death. Original vintage signed and inscribed ink and paint sketch of Little Orphan Annie and Sandy on a light gray 4.25 x 5.75 card, inscribed, “Leapin’ Lizards! Let’s drop in and see our friend Vince Kenny—Eh, Sandy?,” and signed at the bottom by Gray. In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
