Four Christmas cards featuring Charles both alone and with various members of his family, each inscribed to William and signed “Charles”; one is also signed “Camilla,” and another bears the autopen signature of Diana. According to the consignor, the original recipient was William Tallon (1935–2007), the well-known “Steward and Page of the Backstairs” for Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, for five decades. As the longest-serving servant in Elizabeth’s household, Tallon was awarded the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver) in 1975 and the Royal Victorian Medal (Gold) in 2001. In fine condition, with mild handling wear and light scattered soiling and staining (slightly touching one of Charles’s signatures). R&R COA.
