An appointment for Chester Howard Ober as hydrographic and geodetic engineer of the Coast and Geodetic Survey, signed by Harding as president and Hoover as secretary of commerce. In very good condition, with trimming as noted, light soiling and toning, and light folds and wrinkles (slightly touching signatures but not affecting legibility).
