Payne Stewart (1957–1999) was an American golfer who won three major tournaments before dying of hypoxia when the Learjet on which he was flying gradually lost cabin pressure, killing all six aboard, and crashed, unmanned, in a field in South Dakota. Hale Irwin (born 1945) is an American golfer distinguished as one of the few players to have won three U. S. Open championships. Stewart’s official score card from a game during the 1992 PGA Championship at the Bellerive Country Club, August 13, 1992, measuring 11 x 3.75 open, signed in pencil by Stewart and by Hale Irwin as marker. Stewart scored 76—five over par. Vertical fold to each panel (touching one letter of each signature), otherwise fine condition. Auction LOA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
