American composer (1892–1972) best known for making the original arrangement of Gershwin’s Rhapsody and Blue and for his own perennially popular concert staple, the Grand Canyon Suite. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in ballpoint, “To Bernard Baker with best wishes, Ferde Grofé, Sept. 14th, 1959.” A few small, faint creases, otherwise fine, clean condition.
