War of 1812–dated ADS, signed ““Andrew Jackson, Major Genl.,” one page, 7.5 x 2.5, October 23, 1813. An order related to military provisions. In full: “Provision returns for seven men belonging to Colo. Coffee’s regiment under my comd: No. men, 7; No. days, 7; Total, 7. The contractor will supply the above number of rations to Captain Deadrick only….” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, a few wrinkles, chip to one corner, and light scattered toning.
