The text reads, in part: “Brigadier Arhimides Argyropoulos, Greek National Army … performed exceptionally meritorious service as Chief of Staff, Epirus and Western-Macedonia Headquarters, Greek National Army, from June 1949 to September 1949. During this period, by his professional skill, untiring zeal and whole-hearted cooperation, he has contributed in a high degree toward the achievement of peace in his native land.” A hint of soiling and a few wrinkles, otherwise fine condition.
