ALS signed “Jerry Ford,” one page, 6.5 x 8.5, gilt-embossed personal letterhead, March 18 [circa 1993]. Ford writes to Hall of Fame sports writer Jim Murray (1919–1998). In full: “George Grazinalis gave me the copy of your autobiography which you so generously inscribed. I thank you for your thoughtful comments which I treasure. You are my all time favorite writer ‘across the board.’ I thank you for your many kindnesses, especially your friendship.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Very faint spot of offsetting from Ford’s printed name and subtle show-through from date notation on reverse, otherwise very fine, fresh condition. R&R COA.
