Neatly penned ALS, one page, 5.25 x 3, American National Association of the Red Cross letterhead, April 29, 1890. Polite letter to a friend, on a postcard, hoping to still meet. In full, “I fear your visit may have come to an end, but in the hope you may still be in the city, I drop this line to let you know that I am here as well, and would be delighted to see you.” Reverse bears mailing address in Barton’s hand.
