Lot of four items: manuscript 1713 DS, signed “Ro[bert] Hunter” [Colonial Governor of New York and New Jersey, 1710–1720], on a legal matter; partially printed 1748 DS on vellum, signed “Samuel Ogle, Esq.” [Provincial Governor of Maryland during several periods from 1731–1752], granting a parcel of land as governor; partially printed 1762 DS on vellum, signed “Hor[ati]o. Sharpe” [Colonial Governor of Maryland, 1753–1768], granting a parcel of land as governor; and a partially printed 1762 DS on vellum, signed “Hor[ati]o. Sharpe,” granting a parcel of land as governor. The Hunter document is fine; the others are in good to very good condition, with wrinkles, soiling, staining, and holes to vellum documents. The signatures are generally clear and mostly unaffected. R&R COA.
