Mailing envelope, 6.5 x 3.75, signed in the top left corner as a return address, as president, “Franklin D. Roosevelt.” Letter is addressed in type to “Lt. (jg) T. R. Kurtz, Jr.” aboard the USS Dale and bears an April 9, 1935, postmark. Envelope is framed along with an engraved portrait of Roosevelt and a small plaque, to an overall size of 9 x 16.
