TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, April 10, 1963. A letter to Don Gold of The Saturday Evening Post. In part, ' I hope some time we can get together. It would be fun to inspect the changing scene. For the record, it might interest you to know that every book I have written for the last twenty-five or thirty years - - and that's a lot - - has been offered to and rejected by the SATURDAY EVENING POST. Greater love hath no man.' In fine condition, with light creasing, a small area of discoloration to the lower right corner and a light horizontal fold through much of the lower portion of the signature.
